本标准规定了用玻璃毛细管运动粘度计测定135℃时石油沥青、铺路油和乳化沥青蒸馏残余物的运动粘度的方法。也可用于测定粘度在6~1000000mm2/s的其他物质。
本标准也可在其他温度下使用，但精密度是以测定135℃的粘稠沥青的粘度来确定的。
