【摘要】:ThisDirectorycontainsthenamesofcompaniesauthorizedtousetheULRecognizedComponentMarkonorinconnectionwithcomponentsthathavebeeninvestigatedbyULandfoundtobeincompliancewithUL’srequirements.Thesecompanies,aswellasthemanufacturersandsubmittersofthecomponents,haveenteredintoanAgreementwithULtousetheULRecognizedComponentMarkingonlyonorinconnectionwithcomponentsmanufacturedincompliancewithUL’srequirements.ItshouldbenotedthattheRecognizedComponentsofdifferentmakesormodeldesignationsarenotnecessarilyequivalentinqualityorperformance.ForinformationconcerningPlasticsRecognizedComponents,refertoUL’sPlasticsRecognizedComponentDirectory.ULinvestigationsofproductsorequipmentfortheULListing/ClassificationMarkgenerallyincludeanevaluationofthesuitabilityofcomponents(i.e.relays,switches,plastics,etc.)foruseinthespecificend-product.RecognizedComponentsareintendedforfactoryinstallationinend-productsorequipmentwherethelimitationsofuseareknowntotheend-productmanufacturerandwheretheiruseiswithinsuchlimitationsasevaluatedbyUL.TheconditionsofacceptabilityoftheRecognizedComponentneedtobecompatiblewiththespecificend-productapplication.Sincethesecomponentsmaybeincompleteinconstructionand/orrestrictedinperformancecapabilities,theyarenotcertifiedbyULforuseasfield-installedcomponents.UL’sComponentRecognitionServiceevaluatescomponentsbyestablishingperformancerequirementsand/orconstructionrequirementsforuseinspecificend-productapplications.TheappearanceofcatalogormodelnumbersorotherspecificcomponentdesignationsinthisDirectorysignifiesthat:(1)representativesamplesofthesecomponentshavebeensubmittedtoULandfoundtocomplywiththeapplicablerequirements,andthat(2)themanufacturerhasbeenauthorizedtousetheRecognizedComponentMarkingonproductionthatcontinuestocomplywithUL’srequirementsandissubjecttoUL’sFollow-UpService.SincemanufacturersarenotobligatedtoapplytheULMarkonalloftheirproduction,componentsthatdonotbeartheULRecognizedComponentMarkingarenotrequiredbyULtocomplywithUL’srequirements.Themanufacturer’sproductsarenotsubjecttoUL’sFollow-UpServiceunlesstheybeartheULRecognizedComponentMarking.OnlythosecomponentsbearingtheappropriateULRecognizedComponentMarkingshouldbeconsideredasbeingcoveredbyUL’sRecognitionandFollow-UpService.TheRecognizedComponentDirectoryisintendedtoassistmanufacturerswhomaywishtouseaRecognizedComponentintheirendproducts.Forsomecomponents,partoralloftheuseconditionsandratingsareindicatedintheComponentCategoryGuideInformationandtheindividualRecognitions.InformationandlimitationsonthecomponentcanbeobtainedbycontactingthecomponentmanufacturerattheaddressspecifiedfortheindividualRecognitionintheDirectory.ThisDirectorycontainsRecognitionsineffectasofFebruary15,2008.RecordsofRecognitionsissuedorwithdrawnafterthisdatewillbefoundinUL’sListingInformationdatabase.Inaddition,RecognitionsissuedaftertheeffectivedatewillbefoundinUL’sOnlineCertificationsDirectoryatwww.ul.com/databaseandwillappearinthenextannualprintedDirectory.UsersofthisDirectoryareurgedtoreadcarefullythefollowingsectionsforanunderstandingoftheextentofUL’sservices.
