【摘要】:Theboilingrangedistributionofmediumandheavypetroleumdistillatefractionsprovidesaninsightintothecompositionoffeedstocksandproductsrelatedtopetroleumrefiningprocesses(forexample,hydrocracking,hydrotreating,visbreaking,ordeasphalting).Thegaschromatographicsimulationofthisdeterminationcanbeusedtoreplaceconventionaldistillationmethodsforcontrolofrefiningoperations.Thistestmethodcanbeusedforproductspecificationtestingwiththemutualagreementofinterestedparties.ThistestmethodextendsthescopeofboilingrangedeterminationbygaschromatographytoincludemediumandheavypetroleumdistillatefractionsbeyondthescopeofTestMethodD2887(538x00B0;C).Boilingrangedistributionsobtainedbythistestmethodhavenotbeenanalyzedforcorrelationtothoseobtainedbylowefficiencydistillation,suchaswithTestMethodD86orD1160.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheboilingrangedistributionofpetroleumdistillatefractions.Thetestmethodisapplicabletopetroleumdistillatefractionshavinganinitialboilingpointgreaterthan174x00B0;C(345x00B0;F)andafinalboilingpointoflessthan700x00B0;C(1292x00B0;F)(C10toC90)atatmosphericpressureasmeasuredbythistestmethod.1.2Thetestmethodisnotapplicablefortheanalysisofpetroleumorpetroleumproductscontaininglowmolecularweightcomponents(forexamplenaphthas,reformates,gasolines,crudeoils).Materialscontainingheterogeneouscomponents(forexamplealcohols,ethers,acids,oresters)orresiduearenottobeanalyzedbythistestmethod.SeeTestMethodsD3710,D2887,orD5307forpossibleapplicabilitytoanalysisofthesetypesofmaterials.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsareforinformationonlyandmaybeincludedasparentheticalvalues.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
