【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversproceduresfordeterminingtensilepropertiesofpaperandpaperboard.Theproceduresgiveninthistestmethodareforusewithconstant-rate-of-elongationtensiletestingequipmentandassuch,maybeusedwithinstrumentsdesignedforeitherverticalorhorizontaloperation,andwhethermanuallyoperatedorcomputercontrolled.Theseproceduresareapplicableforalltypesofpaper,paperboard,paperproducts,andrelatedmaterialswithinthemeasurementlimitationsoftheequipmentused.Theyarenotforusewithcombinedcorrugatedboard.Propertiesthatmaybedeterminedusingthistestmethodincludetensilestrength,stretch,tensileenergyabsorption,tensilestiffness,breakinglength,andtensileindex.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Theinch-poundunitsgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
