【摘要】:1.1Intent:1.1.1Thisguideestablishestheminimumrequirementsforviewingsystemsforremotelyoperatedfacilities,includinghotcells(shieldedcells),usedfortheprocessingandhandlingofnuclearandradioactivematerials.Theintentofthisguideistoaidinthedesign,selection,installation,modification,fabrication,andqualityassuranceofremoteviewingsystemstomaximizetheirusefulnessandtominimizeequipmentfailures.1.1.2Itisintendedthatthisguiderecordtheprinciplesandcaveatsthatexperiencehasshowntobeessentialtothedesign,fabrication,installation,maintenance,repair,replacement,and,decontaminationanddecommissioningofremoteviewingequipmentcapableofmeetingthestringentdemandsofoperating,dependablyandsafely,inahotcellenvironmentwhereoperatorvisibilityislimitedduetotheradiationexposurehazards.1.1.3Thisguideisintendedtoapplytomethodsofremoteviewingfornuclearapplicationsbutmaybeapplicabletoanyenvironmentwhereremoteoperationalviewingisdesirable.1.2Applicability:1.2.1Thisguideappliesto,butisnotlimitedto,radiationhardenedandnon-radiationhardenedcameras(black-and-whiteandcolor),lenses,camerahousingsandpositioners,periscopes,throughwall/roofviewing,remotelydeployablecameras,crane/robotmountedcameras,endoscopecameras,borescopes,videoprobes,flexibleprobes,mirrors,lighting,fiberlighting,andsupportequipment.1.2.2Thisguideisintendedtobeapplicabletoequipmentusedunderoneormoreofthefollowingconditions:1.2.2.1Theremoteoperationfacilitythatcontainsasignificantradiationhazardtomanortheenvironment.1.2.2.2Thefacilityequipmentcanneitherbeaccesseddirectlyforpurposesofoperationormaintenance,norcantheequipmentbevieweddirectly,forexample,withoutshieldingviewingwindows,periscopes,oravideomonitoringsystem.1.2.2.3Thefacilitycanbevieweddirectlybutportionsoftheviewsarerestricted(forexample,thebackorundersideofobjects)orwherehighermagnificationorspecializedviewingisbeneficial.1.2.3Theremoteviewingequipmentmaybeintendedforeitherlong-termapplication(commonly,inexcessofseveralyears)orforshort-termusage(forexample,troubleshooting).Bothtypesofapplicationsareaddressedinsectionsthatfollow.1.2.4Thisguideisnotintendedtocoverthedetaileddesignandapplicationofremotehandlingconnectorsforservices(forexample,electrical,instrumentation,video,etc.).1.2.5Thesystemofunitsemployedinthisguideisthemetricunit,alsoknownasSIUnits,whicharecommonlyusedforInternationalSystems,anddefinedbyASTM/IEEESI-10,StandardforUseofInternationalSystemofUnits.SomevideoparametersusetraditionalunitsthatarenotconsistentwithSIUnitsbutareusedwidelyacrosstheindustry.Forexample,videoimageformatisreferredtoin"inch"units.(SeeTable1.)1.2.6Lensandlenselementmeasurementsarealwaysinmillimeter(mm)units,evenwhereSIUnitsarenotincommonusage,asanindustrypractice.OtherSIUnits(forexample,cm)arerarelyusedforlensesorlenselements.1.2.7Unlessotherwisementionedinthisguideradiationexposurereferstogammaenergylevelintermsof60Coexposure,andradiationperhourorrad/hreferstoinstantaneousrateandnotcumulativevalues.1.3UserCaveats:1.3.1Thisguidedoesnotcoverradiationshieldingwindowsusedforhotcellviewing.TheyarecoveredseparatelyunderGuideC1572.1.3.2Thisguideisnotasubstituteforappliedengineeringskills,provenpracticesandexperience.Itspurposeistoprovideguidance.1.3.3Theguidancesetforthinthisguiderelatingtodesignofequipmentisintendedonlytoinformdesignersandengineersof......
