【摘要】:Thisfiretestisapplicabletoadescriptionofcertainfireperformancecharacteristicsinappraisingwallandceilingmaterials,products,orsystemsunderspecifiedfire-exposureconditionsinanenclosure.Thetestindicatesthemaximumextentoffiregrowthinaroom,therateofheatrelease,andiftheyoccur,thetimetoflashover,andthetimetoflameextensionbeyondthedoorwayfollowingflashover.Itdeterminestheextenttowhichthewallandceilingmaterialsorassembliescontributetofiregrowthinaroomandthepotentialforfirespreadbeyondtheroom,undertheparticularconditionssimulated.Itdoesnotmeasurethecontributionoftheroomcontents.(SeeAppendixX1,Commentary.)Note18212;Timetoflashoverisdefinedhereinaseitherthetimewhentheradiantfluxontothefloorexceeds20kW/m2ortheaveragetemperatureoftheupperhotgaslayerreaches600x00B0;C(1100x00B0;F)orflamesexitthedoorwayorspontaneousignitionofapapertargetontheflooroccurs.Thespontaneousignitionofacrumpledsinglesheetofnewspaperplacedonthefloor0.9m(3ft)outfromthecenteroftherearwallprovidesavisualindicationofflashover.Thepotentialforthespreadoffiretootherobjectsintheroom,remotefromtheignitionsource,isevaluatedbymeasurementsof:(a)thetotalheatfluxincidentonthecenterofthefloor,and(b)acharacteristicupperlevelgastemperatureintheroom.Thepotentialforthespreadoffiretoobjectsoutsidetheroomoforiginisevaluatedbythemeasurementoftherateofheatreleaseofthefire.Measurementsoftherateofproductionofcarbonmonoxide,carbondioxide,andvisiblesmokearetaken.Theoverallperformanceofthetestspecimenisvisuallydocumentedbyfull-colorphotographicrecords.Videotapingofthecompletefiretestisanacceptablealternativetothephotographicrecord.Suchrecordsshowwheneachareaofthetestspecimenbecomesinvolvedinthefire.Inthisprocedure,thespecimensaresubjectedtoaspecificsetoflaboratoryfiretestexposureconditions.Ifdifferenttestconditionsaresubstitutedortheanticipatedend-useconditionsarechanged,itisnotknownwhetheritispossiblebyuseofthistesttopredictchangesintheperformancecharacteristicsmeasured.Therefore,theresultsarestrictlyvalidonlyforthefiretestexposureconditionsdescribedinthisprocedure.1.1Thisisafire-test-responsestandard.1.2Thistestmethodisintendedtoevaluate,underspecifiedfire-exposureconditions,thecontributiontoroomfiregrowthprovidedbywallorceilingmaterialsandassemblies,orboth.Themethodisnotintendedtoevaluatethefireenduranceofassembliesorfiresoriginatinginthewallassembly.Themethodprovidesameanstoevaluatetheeffectivenessofthermalbarriersinrestrictingthecontributionofcombustiblematerialsinthewallassemblytofiregrowthinaroomfire.1.3Thistestmethod,simulatingafireinthecornerofa2420by3630mm(8by12ft)roomcontainingasingleopendoorway,providesameanstoevaluatetherelativeperformanceofspecifiedwallandceilingmaterialsorassemblieswhentheyareusedtogetherinthesamerelationshipwithinanenclosure,andsimulatingthemannerinwhichtheywillbeused.1.4Thistestmethodisintendedtoevaluatethecontributiontofiregrowthprovidedbyasurfaceproductusingaspecifiedignitionsource.Itshall,however,benotedthatthetype,positionandheatoutputoftheignitionsourcewillconsiderablyinfluencefiregrowth.Thethermalexposureconditionsfromtheignitionsourcespecifiedinthismethodwillres......
